I used to live in this neighborhood and miss going to Windsor Farms. It's a cozy spot perfect for a Saturday morning breakfast! This past Saturday morning, I had some time to spare and stopped in. I try to avoid bread and potatoes so was happy to find their tomato, mushroom, pepper and onion omelette because it is served without potatoes or toast. The staff was very friendly and attentive and a busy Saturday morning. My only small complaint is that I had to wait 15 minutes (I was watching the clock) to get someone's attention to request the check. I will still absolutely return!

I hung out with my sister and girlfriend Friday night. I had decided that I was going to Windsor Farms to get scrambled eggs soft with american cheese with grits and ended up adding fried whiting, that was a huge mistake.

I made it to the diner. It was full seats so I sat at the single stools. I walked into Windsor Farms @ 9:42 at 9:50 am I had a sweet waiteess who seemed to be the only one waitressing.

The owner didnt show up until 10:10am at this point still no food in front of me. This was the kicker i was giving my check for food I hadn't recieve. The waitress handling my breakfast stated to me, would I like to wait another 10 or more minutes or cancel. I stated to my waitress that I wanted to speak with the manager.

He refused to walk over to me. My  breakfast plate made it out to me. The fried whiting was on a seperate plate by itself. I realize quick that the fish wasn't fresh, previous frozen, just disgusting.

When my waitress comes and give me my bill $16.45. I stated to her that the manager never came over , she stated that he doesnt give back refunds. I informed her to let her manager know that I've been sitting here observing everything and his attitude , refusing to  come over to me was unprofessional and extremely rude.

More and more ppl were coming in and they were being told it's really busy are they ok with waiting. I informed a mother of 5 kids that I arrived here at 9:41 and didn't get my food until 10:55am.  She asked her kids if they wanted to Dunkin Donuts, they all agree and they left out. Another lady and two men walked in and was like damn. I said if you want to enjoy a good breakfast, it wont be this place. Thry left as well.

My waitress informed me that her boss was going off on her when all he needed to do was be professional and show everyone he has some customer service skills.

I will admit I love the way the owner scrambles my egg soft w/cheese and their grits is banging.

When your in the Windsor area don't be starving because it gets really crowded fast. There hours are Mon thru Sunday 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. The manager #NEEDSTODOBETTER!! and he  needs more waitresses & waiters on the weekends and customers that are sitting in your establishment needs to be priority to customers calling over the phone.

To all my yelpers continue to eat your way thru the world. #FOODIE4LIFE!!

Food is amazing! Service is much left to be desired. I think there was maybe one cook and 2 people waiting tables. The other person was waiting tables and possibly cooking, so it took forever. The food was still that amazing that I didn't care after I left. Maybe that's the ploy... make you starve long enough where you don't care what it tastes like and you'll just be thankful someone fed you

We like to support small businesses and often pursue smaller restaurant in hopes of finding great tasting food. We visited from Maryland for my moms birthday weekend. My family decided to have breakfast at Windsor Farms ( worst decision). I should have known this place was not hygienic based on the uncleanliness of bathrooms. My entire family became sick with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and headache which we know came from eating at this restaurant because they got sick within a hour of eating. I was considered lucky because I only had abdominal pains.
The next day I called the restaurant to report these concerns ,as well as ,seeking a reimbursement of our money. The symptoms my family experienced was horrific, there is no way anyone should pay money for food that causes so much harm to your body and essentially ruined our mom's birthdays weekend plans.

The manager was  apologetic his son (cook) basically was not. He argued with me, never apologized, and basically said we did not get sick from here. He was rude and nasty. I told him we need this to not happen to anyone else, yet he did not care.

I will be calling the health department on Monday! Pleas beware do not eat at this restaurant.
